WEEE & RoHS Compliance Statement Viota Limited 2020

The following statement is a summary of the position of Viota Limited with respect to the European Union’s (E.U.) request for compliance to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive 2002/95/EC and to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive 20021 961 EC.

The WEEE directive provides for the prevention, recovery, and safe disposal of specified electronic waste and required compliance by August 13, 2005.

The RoHS directive bans the use of four metals (Hg – Mercury, Pb – lead, Cr(V1) – Hexavalent Chromium, and Cd – cadmium) and two flame retardants (PBB – Polybrominated biphenyls, and PBDE – Polybrominated diphenyl ethers) in certain specified products sold in Europe beginning July l, 2006.

All Viota Limited products are considered compliant with the currently released RoHS and WEEE directives.

The products of Viota Limited fall under Category 3 “IT and Telecommunications Equipment” and Category 4 “Consumer Equipment”. They are, therefore, specifically included in the requirements within the RoHS and WEEE directives.

Should future modifications to the released directives impact our products, we will strive to achieve and/or maintain compliance within the published deadlines of the directive.

Our commitment is to deliver uncompromising quality to our customers and to develop products that are both recyclable and are manufactured wherever possible from recycled materials in order to have a minimal environmental impact.
